Training Workshops and Inspiration Sessions

Be inspired by our fantastic Cool Canvas training days. We live, breath and love the outside world and long to share this passion with you. The natural world offers endless learning through continuous play so let us help you escape the classroom and rediscover the wonders of being outside.

Our training workshops and inspiration sessions are run by our Cool Canvas play expert, Tamsin Wotherspoon. With her background in teaching and community art, and an infectious enthusiasm for outdoor play, Tamsin will demonstrate how to bring an early-years outdoor play setting to life.

Our aim is to leave teachers, teaching assistants and nursery staff inspired to imagine and develop their own projects and play ideas for their children in their unique setting. Each Inspiration session is 90 minutes long and can be implemented after school or on inset days. We cater for up to 18 members of staff and bring all our own equipment with us. All we need is you!

During the session we will run through several different play experiences, from potions to den building, music making, natural paint and much more! The best way to learn is by doing…so we encourage all participants to be fully hands on and explore and rediscover play for themselves.

We can adjust our Inspiration session to cater for any specific needs in your setting. Just let us know in advance.
