Designed for adventure
Based up on the east coast, this schools EYFS area was a tarmac jungle. We carved up the space with our bespoke riverbed and hump back stone bridge and zoned up the areas to encourage lots of movement and communication opportunities.
We sourced some lovely local stone to create the perimeter edgings to the space making it feel organic and natural. The area included a texture kitchen, sand play, play trees, performance area and river bed as well as quiet spaces to chill. We really enjoyed working with the school team: Nicola, Chris and Phil on this project.
