Designed for adventure
Cool Canvas designed and built our EYFS outdoor environment from scratch, and the result has exceeded our expectations. Created for both Nursery and Reception children, the space has been thoughtfully planned around the EYFS framework, providing rich learning opportunities across all areas of development.
The environment promotes curiosity, challenge and engagement through open-ended play and exploration. It strongly supports Personal, Social and Emotional Development by encouraging independence, collaboration, resilience and confidence-building.
Physical Development is also embedded throughout the provision, with opportunities to climb, balance, dig, build and move purposefully. These experiences develop coordination, strength and physical confidence.

Cool Canvas created a truly bespoke, child-centred environment that reflects high-quality EYFS practice while remaining inviting and natural. Throughout the project, the team demonstrated professionalism, dedication and exceptional attention to detail, consistently going above and beyond to achieve the highest standards.
The finished space is a beautiful and inspiring outdoor environment where children feel safe, motivated and excited to learn. It has significantly enhanced our EYFS provision, and we would highly recommend Cool Canvas.
