This was our first big exhibition, showcasing what we can do for foundation stage settings around the country. Tamsin and I were a little daunted when we were setting up, especially considering the amount of gear we had brought with us and the stiff competition on other stands. The event was fantastic, it was a real pleasure meeting the other exhibitors and all the visitors. It was a great opportunity to gain feedback and listen to people’s ideas regarding their own outdoor play areas. It was a pleasure offering free advice to EYFS practitioners on cost effective ways of developing play provisions at home (for childminders) and in the workplace. We also won the Star Product Award, ahead of 37 other nominations, for our child sized wooden Mud Kitchen – designed to offer a unique outdoor environment for young children to develop the skills they need for learning and life.
